Rehabilitation of Erbil Citadel is one of the projects currently being undertaken by CDP International. The Citadel of Erbil is a rich archeological historical repository testifying many millennia of settlement, making it one of the longest continuously inhabited sites in the world. The Citadel rises 28 – 32 meters above the surroundings with an area of over eleven hectares at an average height of 430 meters above sea level.
